'Glee' Creator Confirms: Everyone Is Coming Back

'I wanted to do the right thing by all of them,' Ryan Murphy tells Vulture.By Fallon Prinzivalli, with additional reporting by Christina Garibaldi "Glee" Photo: Adam Rose/ FOX Twitter is a blessing that affords celebrities the ability to communicate with fans and update on their projects. But it can also be a curse when it sparks unwanted rumors — as "Glee" star Amber Riley found out the hard way. Gleeks thought the actress wasn't returning to the show next fall when Riley tweeted, "Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I've known day in and day out for three years. I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday!" When the show's creator Ryan Murphy spoke to Vulture, he dispelled the gossip. "A lot of people have been writing Dianna [Agron] off the show, Amber's off the show — they're not off the show," he said. "I think Amber was talking about that bittersweet feeling of, 'I'll never be in the choir room with that exact group of people.' ... She's excited about where her character is going. They all are. I wanted to do the right thing by all of them." MTV News caught up with Agron before the news broke that her character was returning. The actress told us that while she's interested in the future of Quinn, she likes the story line to be a surprise. "It's so funny, because I do write, and there was part of me that was like, 'Oh, I know these characters inside and out. What if they gave me a shot to sit in the writer's room and toy away with that?' But at the same time, it's like, 'I don't want to have any say in that.' I love the surprise element of it." While fans need not worry about the fate of Lea Michele, Cory Monteith or Chris Colfer following reports that the show will track Rachel, Finn and Kurt's New York adventures, it's hard not to wonder what's in store for the glee-club seniors as they graduate on the season finale. With Quinn (Agron) off to Yale and Puck (Mark Salling) headed to California to expand his pool-cleaning business, some characters could get tossed to the side. But Murphy said that he told the actors if they wanted to stay on the show, he had a place for them — including Matthew Morrison's Will Schuester and Jane Lynch's Coach Sue Sylvester. "They're all coming back," he said. "Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes." But he does clarify that they may not come back for the long haul. "It doesn't mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everyone wants to stay in our family and our world,'" he revealed. "I wanted to make sure those actors know that if they want to have a home, they have a home. If they want to explore new and different things while also having a home, that is also an option." "Glee" returns to Fox this fall, moving from Tuesday to Thursday nights, and is set to begin season four with a second Britney Spears tribute episode.

Justin Bieber Drinks Beer But 'Never Gets Out Of Control'

'You know, you can't trust anyone in this business,' pop star tells GQ.By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: Lester Cohen/ WireImage It's not always easy being Justin Bieber. At least that's what the latest profile about the teen superstar in GQ suggests. While Bieber does open up a bit about his personal life, he remains mostly guarded, sharing very little about what goes on when the cameras aren't rolling or he's not in the recording studio. "I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can't trust anyone in this business," Bieber says in the June issue of the magazine. "That's what's sad. You can't trust anybody. I learned the hard way." The article notes that Bieber seems to mostly go from his house to his car to the studio, with little time for spontaneity. While he remained tight-lipped in the interview, he confesses that he does on occasion let his guard down. But even then, he tries to never let anything get out of hand. "For me, it's just like, I like to be in control of myself," he said. "I mean, I've had a beer, like, before. ... But I never get out of control." Bieber seemed most relaxed during the interview when his pricey new car, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, is sent to him at the studio. With his friends, handlers and associates on hand, he proclaims to everyone that they should head into the studio with him and celebrate by listening to some of his new music. "I'm 18 years old and I'm a swaggy adult!" he says. "Come on, swaggy bros!" That swagger is noted later on in the article when Bieber says, "I've never made a bad song." Another candid Bieber moment comes later on. When hanging in the studio after working on a track for Believe, which drops next month, one of his pals bashes his onetime crush Kim Kardashian, and he quickly comes to her defense, saying, "People say she doesn't do anything; she actually does do stuff. ... She works hard." When MTV News sat down with Bieber to premiere his "Boyfriend" video recently, he told us that he always tries to be the best he can be. "I think it's about getting better at everything and never stopping. You can be the best but you can never stop growing," he shared, before noting that he always enters interviews fully aware that anything he says could be taken out of context. "Right now, I have to think two seconds in advance, like, 'What am I gonna say?' But I try my best to moderate what I'm gonna say, to say it so I don't make any mistakes," he admitted. "So people aren't, like, twisting my words." Related Videos MTV First: Justin Bieber Related Artists Justin Bieber

Maria Menounos Eliminated From 'Dancing With The Stars' Despite Perfect Score

Remaining three celebrities — William Levy, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver — will continue competing for mirror ball trophy next week.By Kelley L. Carter Maria Menounos and Derek Hough on "Dancing With the Stars" Photo: ABC The truth is, anyone's name could have been called to head home from ABC's hit show "Dancing With the Stars" on Tuesday night and it would have been a shock. On Monday night, most of the contestants scored well with the judges. Although opera singer Katherine Jenkins has been a top performer on the show all season, she made a few missteps in one of her Monday night performances — and subsequently beat herself up about it. So folks may not have been too surprised to hear her name called as this week's eliminated dancer. Instead, it was one of the night's top scorers who got the boot. It ultimately came down to TV journalist Maria Menounos and her partner Derek Hough and NFL star Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd. Menounos was the one to go, despite having a near-perfect score on Monday night. The judges salivated over the Argentine tango she performed as her first dance, rewarding her with perfect 10s all around. For her second performance, she took on the jive, and the judges actually named her the winner of the night — and possibly the competition itself. When her name was called Tuesday night, Menounos said, "I learned so many things — how strong I was, to persevere ... I want to thank everyone here. I want to thank Derek and my family and everyone who voted for us." Next week, the remaining three celebrities — Latin heartthrob William Levy and his partner Cheryl Burke, Driver and Murgatroyd, and Jenkins and Mark Ballas will compete for the mirror ball trophy.

Jennifer Lopez Tops Forbes Celebrity 100

Oprah and Justin Bieber follow, with Lady Gaga falling from #1 to #5 and Katy Perry and Rihanna making top 10 debuts.By John Mitchell Jennifer Lopez Photo: Mike Coppola/ Getty Images There's no doubt Jennifer Lopez has experienced one of the most meteoric comebacks in recent memory, and it seems Forbes is taking note, granting the multi-hyphenate mogul the top spot on its annual Celebrity 100. Lopez unseats Lady Gaga, who took top honors last year but falls to #5 in this year's ranking; her visibility and earnings were lower in the last 12 months because she wasn't touring, having wrapped her Monster Ball in May of last year and only recently launching her latest road show, the Born This Way Ball. Rihanna and Kim Kardashian debut on the list in grand fashion, coming in at 4 and 7, respectively. The two benefited from the inclusion of a "Social Rank" among the factors, which include money earned, TV/radio presence and level of press attention, used to formulate the listing, which aims to reflect the level of influence a celebrity has in the entertainment industry. With her millions of followers on Twitter and Facebook, Rihanna came in second in the Social Rank category. Explaining Lopez's position on the list, Forbes writes, "['American Idol'] gave her a platform to promote her music and turn her image around. It didn't hurt that she also split from her husband, Marc Anthony. Suddenly a single mother, Lopez lapped up the media attention and scored lucrative endorsement deals with companies like L'Oreal and Gillette. She now has a line of clothing at Kohl's, a top-selling fragrance and she was able to secure a nice bump — to $20 million — on her' Idol' salary for a second season. With 6.6 million followers on Twitter and 12 million fans on Facebook, she's also proved a master of social media." Oprah Winfrey held on to the #2 spot on the list and was its top earner ($165 million) despite a tough year that saw her syndicated talk show come to a planned end after 25 years and her OWN cable network struggle in the ratings. Justin Bieber also held onto the #3 position he debuted in last year. The "Boyfriend" pop star earned an impressive $55 million in the last 12 months and garnered top 10 rankings elsewhere across the board, coming in at #3 in the Social Rank and #4 in the TV/Radio Rank. Her long list of chart-topping singles and the press attention around her divorce from Russell Brand, in addition to her strong Twitter presence and largely sold-out California Dreams world tour, were enough to push Katy Perry into the top 10 after debuting on the countdown last year at #12. She leaps six spots in this year's ranking, placing at #6 with a not-too-shabby $45 million earned. Looking at the list and the various artists' rankings in the five categories used to determine their placement, there's a sense that the actual positions are more arbitrary than usual. For example, Lopez is #1 despite not ranking inside the top 10 in any of the categories (and is as low as #30 in money, #22 in press rank and #19 in social), while both Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber earned top 10 placement in all of them except the Money Rank, the top tier of which is dominated by multimedia moguls like Winfrey, Steven Spielberg (#10 overall), Simon Cowell (#18), Dr. Dre (#26), Howard Stern (#30) and Michael Bay (#35). And then there's Adele, who despite having the top-selling album in six years, three #1 singles (including the year's most ubiquitous song, "Rolling in the Deep"), six Grammy wins and mountains of positive press, ranks at only #24, behind Glenn Beck (#23) and Jennifer Aniston (#22) and one spot ahead of Bon Jovi. Other notable entries on the Forbes Celebrity 100 include Taylor Swift at #11, Beyoncé at #16, Jay-Z at #38, Kristen Stewart at #43 and Kanye West at #45. Further down the power rankings are Lil Wayne (#69), Skrillex (#92) and Zooey Deschanel (#96). What do you think of this year's Forbes Celebrity 100? Let us know in the comments below. 'Dancing With The Stars': Final Four In Dead Heat

William Levy and Maria Menounos tie for top of leaderboard Monday night, earning nearly perfect scores.By Kelley L. Carter Maria Menounos and Derek Hough Photo: ABC Looks like the right couples made it to the final four on ABC's hit show "Dancing With the Stars." For the most part, the remaining celebrities all ran neck-and-neck in their scores from the judging panel. Monday night, they were tasked with two dances, and considering that everyone scored at least one 10 for their performances, the judges were pleased with how things worked out. It was a tie for the top of the leaderboard, with both William Levy and Maria Menounos earning nearly perfect scores. Here's how it all shook down: William Levy and Cheryl Burke
The Latin heartthrob and soap star took on the tango for his first dance. For his second performance, he danced the samba. The judges found his first performance a bit flatfooted, but it didn't stop them from scoring him with two 9's and a 10. In the second performance, head judge Len Goodman said,"Talk about the hunk with the junk in his trunks!" He earned a perfect trio of 10's. 59/60 Maria Menounos and Derek Hough
The TV journalist danced the Argentine tango in her first time out on the ballroom floor, and the judges raved, rewarding her with 10's across the board. Judge Bruno Tonioli called her routine "titillating beyond my wildest dreams!" For her second performance, she danced the jive, and the judges pretty much crowned her the winner of the night, saying that even though it wasn't traditional, it worked quite well. 59/60 Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd
The NFL star danced the waltz and impressed the judges with what they called a dreamy rendition of the ballroom dance. Goodman said it was "absolutely charming," a score from the hard-to-please judge. His next dance was the samba, which earned him two perfect paddle scores from judges. 57/60 Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas
The opera singer challenged herself with the quickstep, and judges could hardly contain themselves with how much they loved it. Tonioli was a bit more animated than usual, shouting out "Outstanding!" when it was his turn to speak. Jenkins' second dance was a salsa, and the judges noted she made a few missteps. That said, the judges were still impressed with her moves. Carrie Ann Inaba told her it was "like you hung out with Beyoncé over the weekend." 56/60 Share your thoughts on "Dancing With the Stars" in the comments below!
